In 2010 there were a total of 40,646 views of photos that I took on my SmugMug site (http://jamesdeighton.com)
The busiest single day was October 4th, with 2,058 views, apparently I'd just posted pics from our vacation to Turks and Caicos.
The most popular album of the year was Alasdair and Susan's wedding, with 3116 views.
It will be interesting to see what 2011 brings!
If you get a chance to take some pics of the kiddies, grab a sheet, hang it from the drawers, create an instant studio look.
Or throw a fleece blanket over the couch to give it an uncluttered background.
Both setups took less than 30 seconds, using things that were in the same room or one nearby - yet they change what would otherwise have been snapshots, into something a little more interesting.
The weather is still not ready for riding outside - it's below
freezing, it snowed 2 inches of snow today and it's dark by the time I
get home from the office - so instead the bike trainer was
re-assembled and put in place for a workout.
As always, there was good news and bad news.
The good news was that the bike, heart, lungs, legs and busted arm all
held out for my 30 minute spin session.
The bad news is that I'm going to have to ride for much longer than 30
minutes at a time to get my legs and backside ready for the spring
when I can get out for a real ride again!
Looking forward to some warmer weather and nice dry roads.
